Not sold here. Still worth wanting.
THE CUBES THAT
SAT FRONT ROW.
Hand-blown glass. Bottega Veneta.
We needed to know more.
Bottega Veneta made the seating out of glass. Of course we noticed.
For Bottega Veneta’s Summer 2026 show, Milan design studio 6:AM created a series of blown-glass cubes in ten custom colours. Called Batch, the pieces turn the irregularities of glass into part of the point.
We saw them.
We went looking.
Part furniture. Part sculpture. Part giant jewel. The kind of thing that makes everything around it look slightly less interesting.
Based in Milan and rooted in the glassmaking tradition of Murano, 6:AM takes a material we already know and pushes it somewhere considerably less expected.
Furniture, objects, light, installation. Familiar forms, made strange again.
Not sold by Smukke House. Featured because it’s beautiful. And worth knowing.
