Smukke House will gladly accept returns of products purchased in our online retail store for an exchange or refund on unopened, undamaged, and unused products.
Should you wish to return an item, please reach out to us at info@smukkehouse.ca within 30 business days from your order date, including the following details:
All items for return must be in their original condition, including packaging, and must be returned within 30 days of the original purchase, accompanied by a valid receipt.
Shipping charges will not be refunded or credited.
Store returns shipping costs are paid by the customer, either priority or expedited shipping, and will not be reimbursed.
Products purchased during all sale and clearance events are considered final sale. Due to cost of free gift, all orders that receive a gift with purchase are final sale.
RETURN INSTRUCTIONS
Please note we do not supply prepaid return labels for any items. You can send the item back to us at the address provided using a trackable method. Once we receive your package, we will promptly process an exchange or issue a refund in accordance with this policy. Please be certain to insure the package. Customers are responsible for return shipping charges, unless the return was a result of damage or error.
We are not responsible for return packages that may be lost or damaged in transit; we recommend using a shipping method with tracking and insurance. Retain your shipping receipt for proof.
If you do not have the packing slip, please include the following information with your return: Your name, billing address, and date of purchase.
The processing of returns once Smukke House receives the package can take up to 14 business days.
FREE SAMPLES & DEDUCTIONS
Any free samples (day cream, serum, etc.) that came with your purchase must be included with your return, unopened and unused. If the free sample is not included with your return or has been used, up to a maximum value of the free sample will be deducted from your refund or store credit. On all returns a minimum of $10 will be deducted from your store credit to cover shipping and processing fees.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
International orders are considered final sale and are not eligible for a refund or exchange, for any reason, including damages incurred in transit or faulty products.
CANCELED ORDERS
If you have placed an online order and decided you want to cancel, you must email info@smukkehouse.ca immediately. Your name and order number MUST be included in the email. Sending the email does not guarantee your order will be canceled. If your order has been shipped please utilize the return instructions.
UNDELIVERABLE or REFUSED PACKAGES
Orders returned to us due to being undeliverable, for any reason, are subject to a refund after the return has reached us and is deemed as unopened and in sellable condition. A fee of $22 for postage and transaction fees will be deducted from the refund.
DEFECTIVE/DAMAGED PRODUCT (CANADA)
Please report any products that arrive defective to Smukke House within 24 hours of delivery. We cannot offer a refund or replacement for any products reported beyond this timeframe. If a product exchange needs to be made due to a product defect, please email us with a photograph of the defect at info@smukkehouse.ca.
A replacement will be mailed to you when the original has been received and inspected by Smukke House. This process can take up to 7 business days. Notification of a product defect after the 24-hour period renders the product ineligible for return/exchange.

RECEIPT OF INCORRECT PRODUCT
If you receive the incorrect product in your order, please notify us within 5 days of order receipt. We will provide to you a return label via email to ship the product back to us. Once we receive the incorrect product back from you, we will immediately inspect and ship the correct product to you.
Returned product must be unopened and unused. If product is returned opened and/or used, we are no longer obligated to ship the correct product.
Please remember, we strive to provide you the best in service but we’re still humans, and that means we can sometimes make a mistake and send you the wrong product. It’s never our intention to disappoint and offer our sincerest apologies if this ever happens.
ALLERGIC REACTIONS
Allergic reactions to products can happen. If you experience an allergic reaction please consult with your doctor. Allergic reactions do not guarantee a return please return policy in this instance.
We sincerely appreciate your assistance and understanding in adhering to this return policy. Please remember that we reserve the right to refuse a refund on any return shipment. Multiple return requests are subject to our review. We may aso deny multiple refunds on products purchased and returned more than once. Returns that do not meet the return policy criteria will not qualify for a refund and may be returned at the customer's expense or destroyed upon request. In the event an exchange is made, please note the that exchanged item is not eligible for return or exchange. If an opened/used product is returned to us, we will not be accepting your return or processing a refund.
REVISIONS
Smukke House may revise the terms of the Return & Refund Policy at any time by posting revised terms, and these revisions will be effective immediately. If any of the terms are found to be unenforceable, you agree that the remainder of the Return & Refund Policy remain in full force and effect.
